Auburn University Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants

I serve as President for the 2010 - 2011 school year.
Chapter HistoryThe Auburn University chapter was established in 1989 by 5 African American students but between that time and now the chapter has become inactive. In 2009, the chapter was once again revived but as of today is still considered de-facto by the National Chapter. This year I have pushed towards the revival and stabilization of the chapter. Due to my passion, dedication and expressed concern, I was appointed the position of President for the 2010-2011 school year. Myself along with the newly formed Executive Board are in the process of rebuilding the chapter in hopes of having our campus organization and its benefits be parallel to those of other business organization such as Alpha Kappa Psi and Beta Alpha Psi, which is an organization only for accounting majors.
